Alas, the calendar is stored in the archives and I am faced with finding the Lost Ark in a government warehouse,,, HOWEVER ,,, google, thank god,,, verifies that it exists~!~!

At the risk of being too wordy, I will voice another memory that your fire-fighters calendar, jogged for me. I have ONE Calendar that is the most prized, in my collection of saved works of Art. It came from an SPCA/Humane organization out of state, and by request/donation only. It is truly, a Thing Of Beauty. To fully appreciate the essence of this wonderful document, I would refer you to The Helen Mirren film, Calendar Girls, which was the inspiration for my calendar. It was a one time, one shot fund raiser and a great success. Each year or so, I write and ask if they are going to repeat the event, and each year, I get the same sad answer. I thank the Powers That Be, to have been able to obtain this one. The puppies are truly wonderful.

Indeed, the Eternal Now is a concept I only heard about and understood at arms' length, until an unexpected retirement, pushed me into an entirely different existence. Many months elapsed before I became comfortable with being out of the "Rat Race", and more yet, until this New Life became comfortable; enjoyable. Calendars are now only useful for the occasional appointment. The Calendar most useful is many years old. It contains all the Birthdays I could never keep in sync.
